Does Feedwise collect data?

No. Here is exactly how the app is built so that it cannot.

Short answer

No. Feedwise has no server that sees your accounts, your messages or what you look at.

How that is possible

Feedwise is a focused browser. When you open Instagram inside Feedwise, your phone talks to Instagram directly, the same way Safari or Chrome would. Feedwise hides parts of the page on your device with a list of rules. Nothing is proxied through us.

Your login

You sign in on each platform's own login page. Your session cookie is stored by the operating system's browser store, on your phone. Feedwise never reads your password and could not send it anywhere.

What Feedwise stores

Your settings (which apps, which rules, sleep schedule) and a count of how many distractions it removed today. On your phone. Delete the app and it is gone.

What Feedwise does not have

No analytics SDK in the free app. No ad SDK. No account required. The Family plan needs an account so a parent's rules can sync to a child's phone; that account holds the rules and daily usage totals, not any content.

Try it. It's free.

Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat without the feeds. DMs stay.
