For parents
You don't have to take the phone away. Just take the scrolling away.
Your kids need social media to stay connected. They don't need the parts big tech built to addict them. Feedwise is a parent-controlled version of the apps your kid already uses, with those parts removed.
Most parental control apps give you two options: block social media entirely, or trust the platforms' own settings. The first makes your kid feel cut off from their friends. The second doesn't work. Instagram still serves them Reels at 11pm.
What parents can do
The controls you actually wanted
No more bottomless scroll
Your kid can still use Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and TikTok. The Reels, Shorts, Spotlight and For You feeds are gone.
No ads, no suggestions
No targeted ads in your kid's feed. No 'suggested for you' rabbit holes from strangers.
One dashboard, every kid
See which apps were used today, for how long, on what schedule. Across all your kids.
Locked from the inside
Your kid can't uninstall it, sign out of it, or override your settings. They can ask you to.
Uninstall protection uses Apple Screen Time and Android device controls, set up once during pairing.
How it works
Three steps
- 1
Install Feedwise on your phone
Pick the Family plan. Generate a 6-character code for your kid.
- 2
Your kid installs Feedwise
They enter the code. Their Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat and other apps now live inside Feedwise. The original apps are blocked.
- 3
Set the rules from your phone
Time limits and which apps are allowed. Changes sync to theirs instantly.
How we compare
Feedwise vs other screen time apps
Other screen time apps are all or nothing. They block whole apps so your kid can't be distracted, but then they can't reach their friends either. Feedwise removes the addictive parts and leaves the connection in.

Questions
Asked and answered
Does my kid need their own Apple ID or Google account?
Yes, but if they have their own phone they almost certainly already have one.
Will my kid know I can see their usage?
Yes. Feedwise tells them when they enter your code. It works because it is honest. Most teens accept 'you keep Instagram, you lose Reels' far more readily than 'you lose Instagram'.
What happens if my kid deletes the app?
On iOS with Screen Time and on Android with device admin enabled, Feedwise cannot be uninstalled without your passcode, and the original apps stay blocked. You get a notification if protection is turned off.
Can my kid just use Instagram in Safari?
The Family setup blocks the original apps and the platforms' websites in the system browser, so the only way in is through Feedwise.
What if my kid is 16 or 17?
Works the same. Many older teens set it up themselves; the parent plan simply adds the schedule and the lock.
What if I want to cancel?
Cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Your kid's Feedwise keeps working as the free version.
Is this just Screen Time with extra steps?
Screen Time is all or nothing: block Instagram, or don't. Feedwise removes the parts inside Instagram that were built to hook them and leaves the parts that connect them to their friends.
Do you sell my kid's data?
No. We don't run ads. Your subscription is the entire business model.
