Where your traffic goes

Your device loads social websites directly from their services. Blocking rules inspect page elements on your device to hide distractions. Feedwise does not send social-page content, messages or browsing history to our servers. The platforms still process your requests and may show advertising under their own policies.

Where your login lives

You sign in to each social platform on its own login page. Its session is stored by the operating system's web view on your device. Feedwise account sign-in is separate: Supabase processes your email and authentication information to manage that account.

What Feedwise stores

• Your settings: which apps, which rules, sleep schedule. On your phone.
• A count of how many distractions were removed today. On your phone.
• Feedwise accounts: email, account identifiers and authentication information handled by Supabase.
• Subscriptions: purchase history, subscription status and customer identifiers handled by RevenueCat and the relevant app store, including subscription analytics.
• Family, where available: child profile names, device-linked accounts, pairing, rules and daily per-platform minutes handled by Supabase. Family is not included in the first Android release.

What Feedwise does not do

• No first-party advertising SDK; websites inside Feedwise may still display ads.
• No general app-activity analytics SDK. Account, subscription and supported Family services still send the data described above to their providers.
• We do not sell your personal data. Our service providers process the data needed to operate their features.

How the blocking works

On-device rules: a list of CSS selectors, text labels ("Sponsored", "Suggested for you") and URL patterns (/reels/, /shorts/). The page is fetched from the platform, then those parts are hidden before you see them. The rules are plain text and we will publish them.

Deleting your data

Use You → Account & deletion for an existing Feedwise account. To request deletion without the app, or request removal of subscription-related records, visit account and data deletion. Subscription cancellation and social-platform account deletion are separate. Local personal settings and history can be cleared through your device's app-storage controls.
