Where your traffic goes

Your phone talks to Instagram, YouTube and the others directly, the same way Safari or Chrome would. Feedwise does not proxy, log or inspect that traffic. There is no Feedwise server in the middle.

Where your login lives

You sign in on each platform's own login page, with their two-factor prompts. The session is stored by the operating system's web view on your device. Feedwise never reads your password.

What Feedwise stores

• Your settings: which apps, which rules, sleep schedule. On your phone.
• A count of how many distractions were removed today. On your phone.
• Family plan only: an account, the rules you set, and daily usage totals per app for your child. That is what the dashboard shows. No content, no messages, no browsing.

What Feedwise does not do

• No advertising SDK. No ads.
• No analytics in the free app.
• No selling or sharing of data. There is nothing to sell.

How the blocking works

On-device rules: a list of CSS selectors, text labels ("Sponsored", "Suggested for you") and URL patterns (/reels/, /shorts/). The page is fetched from the platform, then those parts are hidden before you see them. The rules are plain text and we will publish them.

Deleting your data

Free app: delete the app. Family plan: Profile, Account, Delete Account. Everything is removed within 30 days.
