Who we are

Feedwise is operated by SV Ventures Ltd ("we"), United Kingdom. Contact: hello@feedwise.app.

What the app does with data

Feedwise loads third-party websites (Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Reddit) directly from those services inside the app. Blocking rules inspect page elements on your device to hide distractions. Feedwise does not send those pages, social-platform passwords, messages or browsing history to our servers. The websites themselves receive your requests and apply their own data policies.

Data stored on your device

Personal blocking settings, schedules, limits and local usage statistics are stored on your device. Social-platform session cookies are stored by the operating system's web view. Feedwise account sessions are also stored locally to keep you signed in. Optional app locking uses the device's authentication system; Feedwise does not receive your fingerprint or face data.

Feedwise accounts

Free browsing and filters do not require a Feedwise account. If you use a Feedwise account, Supabase processes your email address, account identifier and authentication information on our behalf. An account may use an emailed sign-in code or a password. These credentials are separate from your social-platform logins. We use account data to authenticate you, manage your account and associate access with the right person. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Subscriptions

Apple App Store or Google Play processes subscription payments. RevenueCat processes purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, subscription status and an app-generated customer identifier so we can provide paid access, restore purchases and understand subscription performance. When you sign in to Feedwise, that customer identifier is linked to your Feedwise account identifier. RevenueCat runs even if you do not sign in; using a generated identifier does not mean that no data leaves your device. We do not receive your full card or bank details. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interests in operating and understanding subscriptions.

Family data, where available

Family is not available in the first Android release. Where Family is supported, Supabase also stores child profile names, parent and paired-device account identifiers, pairing information, configured rules and daily per-platform usage minutes and dates. A paired child device uses an anonymous authentication account to sync; this is a device-linked identifier, not the absence of account data. Device time zone is used to organize daily totals. These records are available to the authorized parent and paired device according to their access permissions. Social-page content, messages and browsing history are not included in Family reports. Service providers and security

Supabase and RevenueCat process the account and subscription information described above. Our hosting and service providers also receive technical request information such as an IP address when your device connects, for service operation and security. Feedwise's account and subscription connections use HTTPS. We do not sell your personal data. Third-party websites are independent services, rather than our account or billing processors.

Waitlist

Before launch you can join our waitlist on feedwise.app. We store your email address, whether you ticked that you are a parent, a guess at your phone platform, and which link or campaign brought you to the site. We use it only to email you when Feedwise is available, and to understand which of our launch posts worked. Legal basis: consent. We delete the list after launch, or sooner if you ask at hello@feedwise.app.

This website

feedwise.app uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages and links bring visitors. It sets no cookies and does not identify you: visits are grouped using a hash that resets every day, and we see only totals such as page, referrer, country and device type. Legal basis: legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used.

We also use PostHog EU Cloud for website page totals, referring websites, broad device information and counts of successful waitlist submissions in our internal business dashboard. This website tracking uses cookieless mode with no persistent browser identifier or person profile. We remove URL query strings and fragments and do not send email addresses, form contents or social-app browsing to PostHog. Session recording, automatic interaction capture and error recording are disabled. We skip PostHog when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. This does not add analytics to the Feedwise app.

Third-party sites

Each platform applies its own privacy policy when you browse or sign in. Depending on what you do there, the platform may receive account details, content you submit, browsing activity, cookies and technical device or network information, and may display advertising. Feedwise does not change those services' data collection. Platform-specific filtering does not guarantee that every advertisement or distraction will be removed.

Children

Feedwise's Android release is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not a child-safe internet service. Where Family is supported, parents manage the child profiles and device pairing described above; this does not replace the age restrictions, privacy policies or parental requirements of the social platforms.

Retention and deletion

Account and Family records are kept while the account is in use. In-app account deletion removes that account's authentication record and associated Family data, and removes a waitlist entry with the same email. It does not automatically erase RevenueCat or store transaction records, cancel a subscription, delete social-platform accounts or erase personal blocking settings and history on other devices.

To request account deletion without the app, or deletion of subscription-related records held by us or RevenueCat, use our account and data deletion page. We verify ownership before acting on requests and aim to complete verified support requests within 30 days. If records must be retained for legal, accounting, security or fraud-prevention reasons, we explain the reason and applicable retention period when responding. Store and social-platform records remain subject to those providers' policies. Remove local app data through your device settings to clear local settings and sessions.
