Who we are

Feedwise is operated by SV Ventures Ltd ("we"), United Kingdom. Contact: hello@feedwise.app.

What the app does with data

The Feedwise app is a web view that loads third-party websites (Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Reddit) directly from those services and hides parts of them on your device. We do not receive, store or process the content of those pages, your credentials, your messages or your browsing.

Data stored on your device

App settings and a daily count of hidden items are stored locally. Session cookies for third-party sites are stored by the operating system's web view under those sites' own policies.

Data we process (Family plan only)

If you create a Family account we process: your email address, a hashed password or sign-in token, the rules you configure, the pairing code, and daily per-app usage totals reported by the paired child device (app name, minutes, date). Legal basis: performance of a contract. Retained until you delete the account, then removed within 30 days.

Waitlist

Before launch you can join our waitlist on feedwise.app. We store your email address, whether you ticked that you are a parent, a guess at your phone platform, and which link or campaign brought you to the site. We use it only to email you when Feedwise is available, and to understand which of our launch posts worked. Legal basis: consent. We delete the list after launch, or sooner if you ask at hello@feedwise.app.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a subscription status and an anonymous identifier, never your payment details.

Third-party sites

Each platform you sign in to applies its own privacy policy to your use of its service. Feedwise does not change what those services collect from you.

Children

The child app in the Family plan does not require a Feedwise account and does not collect personal data beyond the usage totals described above, which are visible only to the paired parent.

Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection under UK GDPR. Email hello@feedwise.app. You can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
