Feedwise vs Screen Time and app blockers

Screen Time blocks whole apps. Feedwise removes the parts inside them that were built to hook you. When to use which.

Screen Time, Digital Wellbeing, Opal, one sec and friends

They limit or block whole apps. Useful for hard cut-offs and for apps you want to quit entirely. Two problems: they are all or nothing, and the "ignore limit" button is always there.

Feedwise

It changes what is inside the app instead. Instagram still opens; Reels does not. YouTube still opens; Shorts and the home feed do not. There is no limit to ignore because there is nothing to scroll.

Use both

Feedwise for the social websites you want to use without the feeds. Other device controls can manage access outside Feedwise. Pro's sleep mode pauses social feeds inside Feedwise on your schedule.

For parents

Feedwise Family lets parents set allowed platforms, daily time limits and a sleep schedule inside Feedwise. Rules sync when the child's Feedwise opens or returns to the foreground, and every five minutes while open. Offline devices keep the last synced rules. Family does not prevent uninstalling Feedwise or using other apps and browsers. Family is planned for iPhone and is not available on Android yet.

Try it. It's free.
